Role: Lead Designer and Animator
Strength in Numbers.
After landing Kevin Durant in a blockbuster, league altering acquisition, the Golden State Warriors came to the Famous Group to make a game day opening video that would excite the crowd and introduce this new look team. Even though their team was made up of arguably 4 of the greatest individual talents ever, the Warriors wanted the bedrock of the video to be team centered. That each player was a reflection and partnership of the others, that not one single person won the game but rather the collective together.
As lead designer, I came up with a concept centered around the idea of the players being echoes of themselves and each other. Tightly choreographed movements that showcased in sync the team was with each other and how the true strength of the collective wasn’t in just one player but rather all the players combined working in collective harmony.
